The Benefits of Working With a Dietitian & How to Book a Consult

Dietitians are:

Regulated Health Professionals

Dietitians complete a Science Degree in Human Nutrition, followed by a year of hands-on dietetic internships. We have studied the art and the science of nutrition and health.

Evidence-Based Practitioners

Dietitians stay up-to-date with current research and adhere to yearly education. This ensures you receive reliable, high-quality,  efficacious care.

Dietitians work WITH you, we don't just tell you what to do. We listen and together, we create a plan, monitor progress, and overcome barriers.

Dietitians Can Help With:

Chronic Metabolic Diease Prevention

Dietitians help assess and recommend nutrition changes to lower risks for chronic diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity.

Chronic Metabolic Disease Management

Most chronic diseases are influenced by our lifestyle. Dietitians are trained in Medical Nutrition Therapy to help manage symptoms and potential disease outcomes.

Health-Focused Weight Management

A dietitian can help you understand what influences our weight, including genetics, our biology, and our lifestyle. Weight management is more about health gains than weight loss.

Exercise & Sport Nutrition

Dietitians help make sure you are properly fueled for exercise, muscle building, and/or fat loss.

Digestive Concerns

A dietitian can help tease out potential culprits and help you find a way of eating that eases your discomfort.

Family/Pediatric Healthy Eating

Develop strategies to promote healthy eating as a family unit.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
